Originally, this website was put together for 2 main reasons:

1. To let you know about me;

2. To let me know what interests you.

Since the election I have been busy learning how our Council works and the provincial legislation that controls what a Council and a Councillor can and cannot do, which includes our own by-law system. I have also come to realize that things move much slower in government than they do in the private sector.

Our new Council has become an energetic team that approaches every challenge as an opportunity for improvement. We are trying to strengthen old weaknesses and explore new opportunities. It's an exciting time for Highlands East! ! !

Unfortunately, this website was neglected. Items are now being revised and added. The menu tabs will identify when their content was last updated.

Council meetings are normally held in the Council Chambers in Wilberforce, at 9:00 AM on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. On the Thursday afternoon before the meeting, the agenda is posted on the municial website at www.highlandseast.ca. Addition meetings are held as necessary. The public is welcome to come and listen.
